If you have completed coursework at other institutions, contact the schools you have attended and request to have your official transcripts sent to College of the Desert. View the Transcripts from Other Schools webpage for additional information.
Students are entitled to obtain up to two (2) free official transcript copies in their lifetime (Ca. Educ. Code § 76223). Electronic delivery is unavailable for free requests and free requests are unavailable through Parchment. Free orders must be completed as a 21-Business Day request and will be mailed within four to five (4-5) weeks.
Current students may view their unofficial transcripts using the Self-Service portal. Unofficial transcripts may also be requested in person at the Admissions office free of charge with valid photo identification.
If it has been a year or more since you have registered for courses at College of the Desert, you will be unable to access the transcript through the student portal. After one year or more of no registration activity, access to the student account closes. You may submit an admissions application to reactivate your account.
If you are waiting for changes or updates to be made to your transcript, you should wait until you see these changes posted in your Self-Service account before you place your order.
For online transcript requests you can select either hold for final grades or hold for degree.
