Mental Health Area of Focus: Postpartum depression

Program Name: Mamás y Bebés

Program Description: 

  • An 8-week individual or group support program
  • A mood management course provided during and after pregnancy for women at risk of post-partum depression.
  • Gift card incentive 
  • Free Diapers
  • Available virtually

Program Criteria:

  • Women who are pregnant or who are up to 12 months postpartum
  • Completion of a screening form required to determine risk for developing postpartum depression
  • Completion of demographic and pre- and post-measures required

Program Name: Strengthening Families Program (SFP) 

Program Description: 

  • A 14-week program for parents and families with children ages 6-11 
  • Focus is to help prevent teen problem behaviors and substance abuse, strengthen parenting skills, and build on family strengths. 
  • Gift card and gift basket incentives upon completion.
  • Available virtually
