Another program, the Mutual Self-Help Program, enables families to become first-time homeowners by providing construction supervisors (along with sub-contractors) who help 10-12 families to work together to build each other homes.

Martha’s Village and Kitchen
Provides food, shelter, educational programs, job training, free medical care, and counseling to help homeless individuals and families to regain self-sufficiency, there is often a waiting list, those needing shelter may sign up emergency shelter Monday through Friday at 1:00pm and on weekends at 9:00am.
