DSPS Counseling

Students, Welcome to College of the Desert’s DSPS Counseling Services! DSPS Counselors are available for academic and disability-related counseling by appointment and drop-in.

• In-person and phone appointments are available Monday through Friday.

  • In-Person - Counselors are available at the Palm Desert and Indio campuses.

  • Phone - Counselor will call you at the phone number you provide. You will need to be logged into your MyCOD.us email for the appointment.

• Drop-in hours are available Tuesday and Wednesday. Please contact the DSPS office for the drop-in hours.

Scheduling Your Counseling Appointment

• Please call 760-773-2534, email the DSPS office, or visit the office to schedule your appointment. Please include your preferred type of appointment (in-person or phone) and location for in-person (Palm Desert or Indio).

• If you use assistive technology, please email the Director of DSPS, Leslie Quinones, to schedule your counseling appointment.

• ASL Interpreters and captioning services are available for appointments for deaf and hard-of-hearing students.

• DSPS students must meet with a DSPS Counselor at least once per semester to remain active and continue qualifying for DSPS services and priority registration.
