Full Time Employees are eligible to select from several medical plan options: Kaiser HMO, Blue Shield PPO (four coverage options), or Blue Shield HMO. Two dental coverage plans are available to these employees as well: Delta Dental PPO or Anthem Dental Net HMO. Coverage costs for the current coverage year are listed in the 2020-2021 Active Eligible Employee Rate Sheet below. Open Enrollment is available to all eligible employees annually, with new plan elections taking effect as of October 1 of that year. Full-time Faculty, Full-time Classified Staff and Leadership automatically contribute to either CalPERS or CalSTRS retirement systems. Part-time Faculty may elect CalSTRS membership at the time of hire or thereafter.
