Eligibility Criteria
Individuals who meet any one of the following criteria are eligible to enroll at COD:
- Graduated from high school, or
- Passed the CA high school proficiency exam, or
- Passed the GED, or
- Are 18 or older and can benefit from instruction
Students who are under 18 cannot enroll at COD unless they are admitted into COD under
the special admission rules for currently enrolled high school students. If they are
under 18 and not in high school they cannot even enroll in the GED program until they
are within 60 days of their 18th birthday.
