Film, Television, and Electronic Media
Associate in Science for Transfer
The Associate in Science in Film, Television and Electronic Media for Transfer, also
called the Film, Television & Electronic Media AS-T Degree, offers students a comprehensive
lower division program that prepares them for entry-level jobs in film production
companies, radio and television stations or multimedia businesses. This program enables
students to transfer into a four-year program of study in film, television and electronic
media. Students in this program will gain a critical understanding of mass media,
as well as practical skills in writing, producing, directing and editing films, videos,
radio programs and other multimedia content. Students earning this degree are well
prepared for careers in motion picture production, radio and television broadcast
and the electronic media.
