Each year changes are made to federal, state and institutional financial aid programs and services. These changes impact both students and institutions. In order to help you prepare for these coming changes, the Financial Aid Office will be posting new updates on this page.

Scholarship Application

The 2023-2024 Scholarship Application has launched. If you are a current student or plan to attend College of the Desert, be sure to apply today! The application deadline is April 15, 2023. 

Myth Busters

Check out myths and truths regarding financial aid at College of the Desert using our Myth Busters document that we created for our potential and current students.

Chatbot

College of the Desert has partnered with Ocelot to provide a chatbot to answer financial aid and veteran questions in English or Spanish, 24/7/365 days per year. If you have a question, give our chatbot a try! The chatbot allows our students, parents and the community to get their questions answered during a time that works best for them.

The 2023-2024 Financial Aid Applications have launched!

The 2023-2024 financial aid applications are now open! Students can apply for the FAFSA and Dream Act today! The 2023-2024 application will ask for 2021 tax information and will be used to determine summer 2023 to summer 2024 financial aid eligibility. The financial aid priority deadline is March 2, 2023. For help with the application, students can watch financial aid videos that will assist with the process.
