Theatrical Makeup Course - Spring 2023
Roadrunners, put your creative talent in the spotlight! TA080, Theatrical Makeup, teaches the basic principles and application techniques of theatrical, film, print, television, and special effects makeup. This course executes learned skills in a lab atmosphere utilizing correct sanitation rules and regulations as established by the State of California.
TA080 will cover makeup concepts, design, technical protocols, product knowledge, script analysis/character breakdown, current entertainment industry guidelines, protocols, ethics, morals and standards, color theory, facial dimension, custom-built foundation, FX, wig dressing, client/artist relations, and resume building.
