International Education Week (Nov. 16-20) is a joint initiative of the U.S. Departments of State and Education to celebrate the benefits of international cultural exchange and education in the United States. This year, the International Education Program (IEP) would like to invite you to help us celebrate international education throughout the entire month by participating in the following activities.
The IEP invites COD students to submit art that reflects the theme, Embracing Global Diversity for the chance to win one of three $100 prizes! Art can include paintings, drawings, photography, and sculpture. The deadline for submission is Monday, Nov. 30.
International travel may be difficult right now, but we can still celebrate past experiences and find inspiration for future ones! Students, faculty, and staff are invited to submit their favorite photos that they’ve taken abroad for a chance to win a $50 prize! Please send photos to iep@collegeofthedesert.edu by Monday, Nov. 30.
