In observance of the holidays, College of the Desert offices will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019, through Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020. No classes have been scheduled during this break. Regular College hours will resume Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020.
The newly renovated Hilb Library and Central Campus Quad will be unveiled during the College of the Desert’s State of the College on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at 11:30 a.m. at the Palm Desert Campus.
Learning in Retirement is offering a new class in Palm Springs for seniors. The class, Hot News Hot Views, provides students the opportunity to discuss breaking local, state, national and international news with curious and knowledgeable colleagues.
College of the Desert experienced a record turn-out for its second annual Family Night /Noche de Familia. Almost 1,000 guests attended the free, open house event – up from last year’s 600 participant count.
Acclaimed Broadway actor, singer and dancer Matthew Morrison will dazzle attendees at the March 2020 Stepping Out for COD gala – the major fundraiser for student scholarships and services at College of the Desert.
