APPLICATION TO GRADUATE
Application to Graduate will be processed 10-15 workings days after receipt. If you do not meet degree/certificate requirements your application will be cancelled and you will need to apply again at a later time
All official transcripts from other institutions must accompany the request or be on file. Also include official Advanced Placement Scores.

The Associate Degree and/or Certificate of Proficiency are not automatically awarded when a student completes requirements. All transcripts from other colleges must be on file in the Admissions Office PRIOR to filing an Application to Graduate. The student must submit the Application to Graduate to the Admissions and Records Office during the first eight weeks of the semester PRECEDING the semester in which requirements will be fulfilled.
- Please submit your request after completing 40 units: at least 12 must be completed COD units.
- Submitting requests by the deadlines will ensure you are prepared to register for needed classes and provide degree completion updates.
- Application to Graduate requests submitted after deadlines, or submitted in the months of December, January, February, and May could take up to 20 working days to process due to peak registration and activities.
- Students earning a Certificate: At least 6 certificate units must be completed or in progress before submission of an Application to Graduate.
- International transcripts must be evaluated by an official international evaluating company. The official sealed evaluations must be submitted to the Admissions Office PRIOR to submitting a request for an evaluation from the list of evaluating companies. International courses can not be used to fulfill general education requirements.
Graduation Requirements
Each student is responsible for meeting, in full, the requirements for graduation as set forth in the college catalog. The counseling/advisement service assists each student in planning their program(s) of study, but the final responsibility for meeting requirements rests with the student.
