After a student receives a Financial Aid Award Notification Email from the COD Financial Aid Office, the student can expect to receive his/her financial aid funds in the form of either a paper check that is mailed to the student’s current address on file with the Admissions and Records Office or via direct deposit to their designated checking or savings account or Higher One account. Students must activate their HigherOne card before their Fall Pell Grant payment will be disbursed.
Please be sure to activate your Higher One card and choose your preferred refund method. If you have not yet activated your card your disbursement will be delayed.
Please note, students in late starting classes and modular programs will not be paid for their respective classes until after the class(es) begin on the next scheduled disbursement date.
