Mission
The mission of College of the Desert's Dreamer Resource Center is to improve student success and help to successfully transition AB 540 student into college. The center provides academic advising, counseling, and referrals to student service programs in a welcoming environment where Dreamers can connect with campus and community resources.

Campus Closure Notification
Consistent with mandates from the Riverside County Department of Public Health, all College of the Desert facilities will be closed to students, faculty, staff and the community for the Fall 2020 semester. The Dreamer Resource Center will continue providing services during this time period. Should you have any questions, please email DRC Outreach Specialist Rubi Becerril Gonzalez for assistance.
We are available to support our
undocumented, dreamers, and AB540 students virtually.
Our virtual Office Hours will be as follow:
Monday β 8am β 5pm
Tuesday β 8am β 5pm
Wednesday β 8am β 5pm
Thursday β 8am β 1pm
During these virtual office hours, we will be available to connect with you via email or via Zoom. Just send an email to our Outreach Specialist with questions or for assistance.
Our designated counselor, Jose Simo, will continue to be available to meet with you as well. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please email our Outreach Specialist.

Alas Con Futuro
Alas Con Futuro is a student club at COD. The mission of Alas is to facilitate information on educational opportunities and financial resources for undocumented students. Alas provides presentations throughout the Coachella Valley for AB 540 and first-generation students.
