Food Security and Meal Assistance 

Internet and Broadband

​You can get no-cost, in-home internet for up to two months during the new coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak if you qualify for certain low-income internet programs or have a student living in your household.

Altice USA

​​Altice USA​ brings free broadband internet to K-12 and college student households that are new to the service. Altice has also opened up their WiFi points for free public use.

  • Service: Internet up to 30 Mbps

Charter Spectrum Free WiFi

Charter is offering free Spectrum broadband and WiFi access for 60 days to households with K-12 or college students who don't have a Spectrum broadband subscription. The company has also opened its WiFi hotspots.

  • Service: Internet up to 100 Mbps, no installation fees for new student households

Comcast Xfinity

To help individuals stay connected with school and work, Comcast is opening up their Xfinity WiFi network as well as hotspots across the country, including non-subscribers. Just use the xfinitywifi network name and launch a browser. Also, Internet Essentials, their broadband adoption program, is free to new customers for a limited time. Cox

Cox is offering new customers with at least one K-12 student in the household free internet for a limited time.

Mobile Plans and Data

Several cell service providers have opened up WiFi points, increased data limits, and are offering special low cost cell or hotspot service packages during the COVID-19 outbreak.
