Transfer Course Equivalencies
The COD Course Equivalency Database is designed to help students see how courses at another institution may transfer to College of the Desert. It is neither an official determination nor a guarantee of transfer credit award. A course appearing in the list is no guarantee that the course can be used in your major. A course not appearing in the list indicates that it has no prior history at COD and has not yet been evaluated. Courses and institutions will be added to the list on a regular basis.
Due to catalog changes, all information contained within this database is subject to change at any time, without prior notification. Every reasonable effort is made to keep the information in this database accurate and up-to-date. College of the Desert cannot be held liable for errors in, or omissions from, this on-line service. All final decisions regarding the transferability of courses remain with College of the Desert. Transfer credit is awarded for college-level course work completed at Regionally accredited institutions only.
Note: Coursework completed at previously attended colleges and universities will be evaluated and posted to your COD transcript as part of the graduation process. Students who have completed 40 units of college course work, including 12 units completed at COD, may submit an Application to Graduate to Admissions & Records by the printed deadline.
If you have questions about the transferability of your coursework, please make an appointment to see a Counselor by calling (760) 773-2521.
