Student may be exempt from the assessment, orientation, and /or the counseling/advising components of matriculation if they meet certain criteria. (Title 5 §55532) However, student will not be exempt from the admissions and follow-up components of matriculation.
Students wishing to obtain a matriculation exemption in any of the three areas mentioned should submit a Matriculation Exemption Request
, all with supporting documentation, to the Counseling Center. If approved, the Counseling Center staff will clear the student to register for classes. Please remember to enter your student ID number.
