The TASC Language Lab provides supplemental support for students taking French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, English as a Second Language and American Sign Language. The lab plunges students into a rich and interactive language environment including over 200 computer-based CD/DVD ROM programs, live lab conversation groups and tutoring services.

The Language Lab at College of the Desert is a state-of-the-art language instruction facility where students work at their own pace to develop communicative skills in their target language. It is used by students enrolled in foreign language courses, American Sign Language, Non-Credit English as a Second Language courses, and Intensive English Academy. Students use computer-assisted instruction and videos to supplement classroom instruction. Tutoring is also available for some languages.
