The certificate of achievement in Real Estate Development is designed to serve students seeking either to enter or enhance their careers in the Real Estate profession. The courses in the certificate program will provide the foundational knowledge for a person to enter the profession of Real Estate as a developer, manager or investor. Career paths chosen by students pursuing undergraduate studies in real estate development include small business owners, residential or commercial real estate developers, construction managers and members of the trades. The student usually enters the real development field from the construction industry and advances either in a corporate or private pathway to management or entrepreneurship.
