​Two Recognized by DRC

At the May 2013 meeting in Riverside two College of the Desert employees were recognized by the Desert Regional Consortium.

Douglas Redman was recognized for “Excellence in Teaching,” and Larry McLaughlin was recognized for “Excellence in Leadership,” by the members of the Desert Regional Consortium.

Both were nominated by John Jaramillo, Dean, School of Applied Sciences and Business.

Those being recognized must have significantly contributed to Career Technical Education and Workforce Excellence in all or part of the Inland Empire Desert Region.

Douglas (pictured right with John Jaramillo) was recognized for his significant improvements to the Auto and Advanced Transportation Degree and Certificate Programs, his work with Industry Partners and his work training Industry through workforce training.

Larry (below with John Jaramillo) was recognized for his outstanding work in workforce training, partnership development and his High School Pathway work.
