Jacalyn Lopez Garcia’s exhibition Yesterday-Today-Tomorrow is an exhibition of multimedia artwork comprising two distinct yet related bodies of work—Life Cycles: Reflections of Change and a New Hope for Future Generations and In Search of the Mago. The exhibition, scheduled to coincide with Hispanic Heritage Month at College of the Desert, opens to the public at College of the Desert’s Walter N. Marks Center for the Arts on Monday, Sept. 13, with an artist’s reception that is also free and open to the public on Wednesday, Sept. 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. Musical entertainment will be provided by DJ Rex, Lopez Garcia’s son and artistic collaborator.
